American Paint Horse Association bestows
Highest membership honor on Indiana woman
FORT WORTH, Texas—Pauli Crull of Monticello, Ind., was recently honored with the American Paint Horse Association’s (APHA) prestigious Distinguished Service Award at the organization’s recent annual convention and membership meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Crull earned the special award for her longtime dedication to the association. An avid equine enthusiast, Crull has made significant accomplishments to APHA during the 29 years she served on its board of directors.
The Paints were well represented at the National FFA Judging contest held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds this past fall. Kristy Doyle brought O I Need A Spot and O Pinch Me Im Dreamin, Connie Parker and Dixie Norfleet McCue both from Illinois, Kelley Goldsmith brought Scotch Bar Mkenzy from Kentucky and Kenny Crull brought Hez Onehot Invitation from Indiana. The horses were shown in Stock Type Mares and Gelding Halter, Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure. There were also Morgan Sport Horses, Half Arabians and Reiners. Marion Welsh, one of the Purdue coordinators commented on the horses "I know that we received many compliments on the quality of horses presented this year at the contest, so we do appreciate your assistance."
PAINTS TAKE PART IN 2009 NATIONAL FFA JUDGING CONTEST
